Bettertax is committed to the construction industry working communities with the aim of becoming the number one tax refund and tax rebate company for CIS or PAYE tradesmen.
History and Formation
The Bettertax Organisation Ltd. was founded by certified accountants and tax professionals drawing on over 60 years of specialist experience in dealing with the Inland Revenue and more specifically on the tax returns of the self employed workforce.
Together with other IT specialists, Tax Agents and Self Assessment dedicated Accountants, we pooled our know-how and experience with their knowledge and skills to develop what is now the "Bettertax" Tradesman's Tax Refund Service.
Expertise
The driving force, a co-founder and co-developer of our service has spent the last 25 years working almost wholly with self-employed clients and the last 3 years specialising in CIS & PAYE clients. An exceptionally bright and dynamic individual (IQ 156 & MENSA member) is also a Certified Accountant that constantly looks to improve our system further and strives to ensure that Bettertax continues to deliver the very best service for our clients’ in order to claim the maximum possible tax refund.

This system now truly maximises exactly how much can be legally claimed back for any client of ours from HM Revenue and Customs. We substantially and consistently out-perform conventional accountancy practices and yet our exceptional service is charged at an extremely competitive rate.
Charges and why paying a percentage benefits you
Our fee is 30%* of the tax refund we're able to obtain, meaning the completion of your return and/or processing of your claim is absolutely free. If we can't get you a tax rebate, you won't pay a penny.
Working on a percentage ties us to you because our fee is directly proportionate to the value of the tax refunds we're able to obtain. So not only do other accountants or tax agents lack our dedicated expertise in the Trade, there's no real driving compulsion for that accountant or tax agent to attempt to fully maximise your tax refund when working on a fixed fee.
